Jayne creates bold, fluid, highly textural paintings, described as ‘distinctive, colour - saturated, stylistic expressions’. Streetscapes, landscapes and vivid blooms are favourite subjects.
Exhibiting internationally since 2007, over 700 of her paintings hang around the world. Locally, she’s exhibited at Percolator Gallery, Wild Canary and Brisbane Modern Art Gallery. A 10m commission hangs in the University of Queensland. Jayne has travelled widely, with a deep appreciation for the natural environment. Her studio is perched high, enjoying sweeping views from the Glasshouse mountains to Noosa, a constant source of inspiration for her mixed media paintings, textiles and ceramics.
